Waitlist Contest — Official Rules
1. The Contest
The rafl Waitlist Contest is a skill-based promotion. Members of the rafl waitlist earn points by checking in (“tapping in”) at participating businesses, completing optional activities, and referring friends. At the end of the contest period, the single member with the highest cumulative point total wins the prize described below, and the highest-ranked members receive the first invitations to the rafl beta.
2. Contest Period
The contest begins July 1, 2026. The end date will be announced in advance in the rafl app and on this page; rafl reserves the right to extend the contest period, in which case the new end date will be announced before the original end date passes.
3. Eligibility
Open to legal residents of the State of Mississippi who reside in a supported rafl market (currently the Jackson metro area), are 18 years of age or older, and have completed rafl account setup, including email verification. Employees, contractors, and internal testers of rafl Giveaways LLC and their immediate families are not eligible for contest prizes. One account per natural person.
4. Earning Points
Points are earned by: tapping in at participating businesses; completing optional partner activities (“Tap Tasks”) where available; and referring friends who join the waitlist (with an additional bonus when a referred friend completes their first tap). Point values are displayed in the app. Visiting a participating business is free; no purchase is ever required to earn points. Points have no cash value, cannot be redeemed, transferred, or exchanged for cash, and do not affect the odds of any rafl Prize Drop or other sweepstakes — they determine ranking in this skill-based contest only.
5. Winner Determination
The winner is the single eligible member with the highest cumulative point total during the contest period. Ties are broken deterministically: (1) higher point total; (2) earlier waitlist membership; (3) earlier first point earned.
6. Prizes
The total prize pool is at least $2,000. The single grand-prize winner receives the entire prize pool in gift cards to participating businesses (which may include cash equivalents via preloaded debit cards). No specific business is guaranteed. The prize pool may grow as additional partners join; it will never be reduced below the stated floor.
7. Privacy
Leaderboards and referral pages display at most your first name, last initial, and avatar. See our Privacy Policy.
8. General Conditions
rafl reserves the right to disqualify entries generated by bots, scripts, automated means, location spoofing, or fraudulent referrals, and to suspend, modify, or terminate the contest if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor impairs its integrity. Decisions of rafl are final and binding on all matters relating to the contest. The contest is sponsored by rafl Giveaways LLC and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Apple Inc. or Google LLC. By participating, entrants agree to release rafl Giveaways LLC and its officers, employees, and partners from any liability arising from participation or prize acceptance, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
